Brand and model of USB device? Under XP you have the ability to run programs in Compatability mode but not DLLs. Are there any NT or 2K drivers? Maybe instead of . / the thread, give more info to get people to bite!

Use the Windows 2000 driver. You will have to do a "Don't search I choose the driver to install" option. It will then say something about the windows logo testing with XP and select "Continue Anyway". Select Finish and you should be good to go.

well i try that and it says "the file USBnetW.sys on (unknown) is needed
:type the path where the file is located and click OK"

so i found the .sys file in my windows system 32 folder but after i click OK, it says
"CANNOT INSTALL THIS HARDWARE there was a problem installing this hardware/ the driver
installation file for this device is missing a necessary entry. this may be because
the INF was written for Windows 95 or later. contact your hardware vendor "

any new suggestions? im going nuts
