hey, i have a little problem... i recently bought a BusLink usb wireless network 2pack starter kit and i tried to wirelessly connect my Desktop (running XP) to my v5 iop(running Me) but have encountered only problems. the thing is, i cant get them to talk to each other and they dont ping either. i have the host (desktop)running the buslink soho proxy. i have configured the iexplorer on the iopener, and although when i restart my iop i get a popup that says "cant detect hardware" the lights on the buslink are on and its detected as a network adapter. i cant think of anything, all i know is that packets arent being sent from my desktop and they just arent talking to each other. i have the v5's IP as 192.168.0.2 and my desktops buslink as 192.168.0.1. i have tried all the network wizards and both of the buslinks lights are on and now im out of ideas... i dont want to bring it back but i think ill have to because i am stumped. If you can help, please do. thanks

Do you see any warnings/errors in the device manager area? The fact that you get a "can't detect hardware" makes me suspect that you may. Also have you checked for any newer device drivers for Win98? Lastly, you may just want to try this on a couple PCs -- even though your iopenner is pretty much a PC -- first and then migrate it to your iopenner.
