What to do with Netpliance monitors

This may seem like silly post, and I may get flamed for not reading every post out there. I currently am doing some consignment work and in the batch of stuff are two NP1000 units with power supply, but no keyboards, and the memory has been yanked. Could I somehow hook these up as little LCD monitors? When I plug them in, I get a single beep and then nothing else. Where would you go from here if you had these?

They won't do anything without memory. As to easily turning them into little monitors, if you ever find out how, let us all know.
