My physical volume switch is broken and I have no sound. If I push hard at an upward angle I can get sound. If I remove the switch and solder a bridge from the connection spots on one side to the other on the top and bottom connections will that give me sound? I assume with little/no resistance I would have full volume? I am asking first since I don't want to take my switch off just to find out the IOpener wont work without it...
