mobile power
powering the I-Opener in a vehicle

I was slumming at Radio Shack the other day, and came across a power supply meant for laptop computers and the like. I saw two versions: both are 12V in (auto power), one has outputs from 9V to 24V, the other has 12V to 28V. Both are good for 5 amps. Probably contain switching supplies. Price was $59, I think. I haven't tried either one, but they seem like the ticket for running the I-Opener while mobile.

I am looking to possibly put my I-Opener in my car, and am trying to find a good power source. Do you have part #'s for the power supply's you found? Would they be a plug and play kind of deal like the AC power brick or would there be mods required to get the power supply to work? If so does anyone know of a DC power supply that would supply an adequate amount of power without any further modification to the I-opener?
