Boot linux from BIOS NVRAM
Is there enought free space in the BIOS NVRAM to place a strip down version of linux

I want to build a stand alone Audio CD player from spare parts I have laying around. old motherboard ( 233 Pentium MMX), CD ROM drive, sound card, etc.

Maybe other features would be to play CD ROM disk with MP3 files on it.

But wonder if there is room in the BIOS NVRAM chip to add the data needed to do this. This way would not have to worry about a harddrive crash, boot up would be fast.
