Can't find flashing info... help!
Flashing!

Hi all..

I am looking for two things that I am sure are posted here but I cannot find...

one is a schematic of the IO motherboard so I can identify all the chips
two is instructions on how to flash the midori linux to the sandisk... I know I need the bios upgrade, no problem, but I want to stick the M4I on it and can't find th einstructions on how to do this...

Any help is appreciated, especially since I know I'm rehashing... is there an IO FAQ around somewhere?

Here is the closest thing to schematics that I'm aware of.

As far as flashing the sandisk goes I can't find the thread either but I have a vague recollection of somebody having said somthing to the effect that the sandisk was flashed by Netpliance thru the memory access panel by using the pins that this board has since used to build the second serial port. But I could be all washed up on that to, it's a rather vague memory.

The easiest way to put Midori on the sandisk is to do the hard drive hack. Find the dos program dolly.exe. Download the Midori image of choice. From Windows exit to dos. Start dolly. After filling out the required info enter this command: " dolly c:\Midori.img hd129: /c " . Leave out the quotation marks. This assumes you saved the Midori image as Midori.img in C:.

Thanks for the replies!! I appreciate them!

OK, so run dolly from a DOS prompt... on the IO? Install DOS on an HD then plug it into the IO and run it? I just want to make sure I know what I'm doing...

If I recall correctly, both ways should work.
