Hi, I just compaired booting from 12v versus 19 volts and found that at 12 volts, the mute pin is held high so the lm4835 mutes all the sound. to overcome this, simply remove the 0 ohm resistor that goes to pin 5 of the lm4835. So if you have no audio at 12 volts, this is the mod to do. it's pretty easy to get to. I don't have a number for the resistor, but someone can figure it out, I can't find the number associated with it.

It's between another 0 ohm resistor and a larger surface mount capacitor right by the number 5 pin on the lm4835. You should/could then gnd the pin to the gnd rail using the pad from the 0 ohm resisitor you just removed. Good luck.
