yes it worked on my iopener with rare parallel port ethernet i came across 3 of them it is made by xircom model ee10bu which is 10bt with rj45,aui and bnc
one caveat is the speed is limited to parallelport max 115k limit and only dos,win drivers are supported and no linux can support it ;-(
but it worked great!

RE:Parallel Port Ethernet? Anyone try it yet? (modified 0 times)
I use Xircom's PE3-10BT (looks very much like Codeman's Linksys parport adapter) with no problems. I got a used model at an NJ computer fair for only $12.

I gotcha. I was wondering...after looking at the last picture on the link above I see he has a nice setup for the keyboard and mouse...I was wondering if you knew where I could get a diagram of that wiring style? My current splitter does not work!

I assume you already know that the connections to the splitter must be connected opposite to work, IE: Connect the mouse to the keyboard input and the keyboard to the mouse input of the ps2 splitter?
Otherwise most computer supply stores should have the splitter for under $5 (Commonly called the IBM thinkpad keyboard/mouse splitter/adapter)
(Compusa sells the belkin model splitter for $39) OUCH!
