Trimmer pot value
Trimmer pot broken. Looking for a replacement

Anyone know the value of the trimmer pot used as the volume control? Mine broke. Digikey/Mouser/etc replacement part number?

I probably could really care less about actually having a working volume slider, so I could replace it with a fixed resistor, if I knew the value (volume all the way up). While trying to measure it myself, I found that if you shorted the upper right and bottom left solder points, the volume would be on max. Can anyone else verify this? If true, I could just solder in a jumper between the two.

The slider looks like it says 10K, but I can't be sure.

Thanks!
Patrick

If you are happy with max volume, Just solder a jumper. All a rister does is to cut the volume.
