How do you tell what version I-opener you have? I cannot seem to drop into a root prompt
or even get a login screen on my I-opener, How do i get into QNX. and if i do plug a Harddrive
up to it wont the I-opener detect it and boot it?

Sounds like you have one of the so called "hacker proof" units like a V4B or V5 or one that was refirbed. If it boots with a plain dark screen that says "IOPENER" and cntl-alt-esc doesn't get you into setup, then you need to reprogram or replace the bios chip. That still won't get you a QNX prompt, but it will allow you to boot from a hard drive and have your way with it.

If have plenty of chips at http://www.badflash.com
