Midori and wireless lan usb connection
Anyone get wireless prism2_usb working?

Have installed and used other USB (pen drive) with no problems. Can't get wireless 802.11b usb prism2 based adapter to work. Getting device does not exist message. Tried to start network using "network start" command and ifup wlan0 - each time same error - device does not exist. Can't see wlan0 or eth0 - only lo in "ifconfig" command. I have set up wlan0 through Opera based configuration but no joy otherwise.

Last I knew, the Midori installs will only with with certain wireless devices. For example, the Linksys USB wireless adapter will only work with version 2.5 (which are impossible to find now). The version 2.6 adapter is the one you find in the stores now.

You will probably have to get the correct drivers and rebuild the kernel. I have tried several times, but with my limited LINUX experience....
