My I-opener is now brain-dead, with nothing whatsoever showing on the screen. This is after I got the hacked cable and the 5.40 bios from badflash. I assume that you no ideas on this whatsoever, but if anyone does then please feel free to post.

Did you make double sure that the new BIOS chip was plugged in the correct way?
