I have over 12 years experience as a mixed-signal (digital and analog) designer, and I believe I could hack an entire ISA bus architecture onto an I-opener if I had a schematic set (a good one would include timing specs). Since they are manufactured in Taiwan a schematic set in English will probably be hard to get hold of, but there almost has to be such a thing if anyone in the US does I-opener repairs. Someone in the Austin area probably knows a Netpliance tech who could get their hands on one....
