Scanned the MediaWorks mm* executables in /opt/mediaworks/bin for strings and found their internal IRC channel names. The mmdc executable is their IRC server, and these are the channels used by programs:

Program - channel
mmdc - #servers
mmdtvgui_usdtv - #timestamps
mmdtvgui_usdtv - #tuner_signal
mmtuner_hisense - #tuner_signal
mmtuner_lgit - #tuner_signal
mmtuner_proton - #tuner_signal
mmxilleon_fta - #tuner_signal
mmxilleon_fta - #events

When my second box arrives, I'll hang either a kaweth or pegasus USB network adapter off the back. The box probably won't recognize it, but the Tivo S2 modules should be compatible with this kernel. Wonder what an IRC chat client might hear listening on these?
