I saw another Denton post, but it seemed more targeted toward the i-opener.
I got an Audrey for my parents back in September... new off eBay. It has some quirks (turns on spontaneously at night or while my mother is talking to me on the phone, the Audrey gets on the line and we hear modem screeches, constantly runs out of memory) and I've been searching on-line for info and found this group.
I'd like to learn how to get rid of apps that are not being used on the Audrey to free up more space/memory. I'd like to change some of the graphics, update the channels, update the machine and figure out how to keep it from giving "memory full" messages when the cache menu shows that there is plenty of memory available.
I live in Denton, but don't mind driving to Lewisville, Dallas, etc. to meet with some others who are interested (experienced or not) in customizing and tweaking these Audrey gizmos.
I got the Audrey to introduce my folks to the Internet, but it's been having so many buggy problems, my mother hardly uses it because she's scared she'll break it. I'd like to talk with others in the area and learn how to tweak and personalize the unit so that it is as trouble-free as it was originally intended.
