They took my money and the only answer is that it will be another two weeks and that I'll be 'one of the first' to receive them. RE:College Station Hackers? (modified 0 times) SnackPack I got mine yesterday. However, the 2.5"->3.5" cable adapter is ####ed up. I figured out that the adapter is not "straight-thru", since it assumes the pins it's connecting to are not swapped, it connects all the GND pins together, making it inoperable with the IO. Fortunately, I got busy doing something else and received a call. My two arrived!!! They are the grey units, manu. date of 2/18/00. They have the GOO, but no clipped pins. Cables arrived from codeman..(very well made).... have win98se up and running.(I know your a linux guy) My next step is to setup a dual boot and put linux on the sandisk and LEARN IT!
