jasper -- still waiting on an IO, I assume. I am. Do you have any way to flash the BIOS?

those of you around KC -- do you have an IO bootable from a HD? or some other way to flash the bios to its old version? I'd be interested in getting together when I get my IO so I can "fix" the bios. I'll treat you to dinner, beer, or something like that.

I'm at college in Kirksville now, but on May 9 I'll be moving home (about 45 minutes south of KC). Towards the end of May, I begin work in downtown KC, at which time I'll be living a few blocks from the Plaza. I ordered my IO on 3/25 from CC and I'm still waiting. If NP has disabled root, then I'd be interested in getting together to flash bioses, discuss the hack, etc. Anyone else interested?

I am two hours south of KC.
Got the new BIOS version of the IO (3/23/2000).
Use the qnxflash to flash it.
It's running win98 right now.
Got the winchip2.
I have 128mb sodimm and 3com usb network adapter on order.

bu11et, I have a replacement bios I got from badflash, do you want them ?

Anybody able to find websurfer pro anywhere in KC ?

Jeff

force, two hours south of KC would be somewhere near Carthage, wouldn't it? I haven't gotten my IO yet, it's been on order from CC since 3/25. Your badflash bios might be useful to get my IO booted from a HD, perform a hotswap, and then flash the original bios. That's if I'm not able to get root and run qnxflash. I can't say anything for sure until I get my IO.

Thanks,

bu11et
