Culver City I-Opener
Culver City I-Opener Freaks!

New MessageCulver City I-Opener (modified 0 times) rewrite
Anyone around Culver City putting an I-Opener together?

I've gotten my board apart... Luckily i have no epoxy to burn off & all my IDE pins are in tact.
I've purchased my win2chip $24 & waiting for my lasana cooler. $27
I'm still having a hard time w/ my IDE cable & of course i still need to buy a 2.5 hard-drive

Turns out I have no resources to make the hard-drive plate .. so i purchesed the items from Codeman $30

Next Step will be to build the kernel on my other box & purchace OSS $20 for sound .....

Ok .. received my HD bracket from Codeman ... fits perfect ... Also have the 44-pin cable... this is fine also.

received my lasana fan, that fits fine ... the pin keeps poping off the serial part area. I'll have to do something about that.

I've ordered a IBM travelstar 6.4 gig 5200rpm 12ms drive for $98 dollars...

I'm in the login prompt for QNX ... i've typed root w/ password of one2go and i get a prompt called 7013403#

Next step is getting it to run my current ISP + download the qnxflash to flash my bios.

rewrite,

where did you order your 6.4 gigabyte travelstar notebook drive for $98? That's the best deal i've seen so far. i've been holding off on getting a larger drive until i saw your post.

Cool. I find comrades to do dis ting.

I'm still trying to find a damn security torx. That'll be my trip to Fry's tomorrow (Manhattan Beach). I got mine at Culver City too on Jefferson. I hope the glue isn't in mine too. Was the hard drive pins cut or is that a myth?
