Anyone in SLC need help?

I have successfully performed this hack on an 'unhackable' unit. If anyone in the Salt Lake City area needs help... I can re-flash your bios with an actual chip programmer, not a motherboard. Its the safest way to do it. :)
Also, if anyone in the area has a 'dead' unit that got broken trying to hack it, let me know... I might buy it from you.
Just email me...

I can't find an I-Opener anywhere. I've had one on order from CC for over a month now. Where did you get yours?

where did you order from, and what number were you? i ordered from orem, they got about 10 units last wed - i was number 3. i had gotten impatient by this time and already ordered one straight from netpliance on march 22nd. got that one on april 2, original bios date.

I got one from Ogden Circuit City (ordered on the 12th of *march*, picked up on April 8th--and have already received the TOS letter :), and one from CompUSA (called them, and picked it up the same day!). I've also had one on order direct from NP since the 16th of March, but I'm giving up on them ever sending it.

I'm waiting on a hard drive on one, and running original QNX/photon/voyager with my own ISP on the other (but going to trash it as soon as I can--Voyager just doesn't cut it for me (can't get to my bank and several other MUST HAVE sites).
I have a badflash bios coming soon (ordered over a week ago) or I would take you up on your offer on one of them...

I got mine from the SLC Circuit City... ordered it on March 13. It finally came in during the second week of April... almost exactly one month later. I was about to give up, but I guess I got lucky. They said that only 8 of them came in, so I must have been pretty high on the list because they have over 70 on backorder. I recently got the TOS letter as well... I don't think there's anything NP can do about it though. The offer still stands... if anyone in the SLC area needs their bios 'fixed' I can do it in about 30 seconds. :)

Dennis,

You'll be hearing from me. I need some flashing (bios that is).

I have had two on order from the Orem CC since March 18. Haven't seen them yet. But I was able to get two from Orem CompUsa as soon as they came in. I just gave them my name and number and asked them to call me as soon as they were delivered and a week later, I had them.

I'll keep my CC order open as long as possible.

No need to take the bios out any more. I just helped someone flash one with the qnxflash program posted elsewhere. Worked great! Wish I could cancel my BadFlash order :)

Dennis just flashed my bios for me today.

Thanks Dennis. The hard part is now done.

Anyone needing it done, send him an email. He makes it pretty painless!
