Hard Drive Power Management

After installing Windows 98 SE on my V3 I-Opener, I have no option in "control panel / power" for setting a spin down time for the hard drive.

I know that at least one person has also come across this problem, but searching this board for a solution returned no results (I re-installed just to see if that was it, to no avail).

Is there a way of enabling the HD power management option via registry or other? Or any other solution.

This irritating part is that if I just boot plain DOS, the bios powers down the disks quite happily, but under windows, it keeps spinning (this is similar to the video driver/backlight problem many people also experienced).

Any solution appreciated..

thanks,
rob.

Should have mentioned - I have a V4 I-Opener reflashed to the version 1 bios that comes with the sandisk image distributed on #########.
Is there possibly a newer bios out there that fixes this problem with Win98?
