Hi all. New to the i-opener, willing to pay $299 for a new one, or $199 for a refurb. Are the current machines still hackable?

Thanks for your time.

Yes, actually easier to hack than the first several mods. There is still a supply of sub-$200 i-openers up on ebay. Make sure you are getting the right version (E.g. don't get a gooed bios or cut pins). If you feel weak in the knees about buying there, get ahold of me and I will sell you a v5 new in box or demi-modded (k6-iii, anti-tamper torx removed) for a more reasonable amount than your mentioned price.

Hi Silver944,

Do you still have any of the hackable i-openers available?

Please email me a price.

I have several NIB i-openers as well as a dead V1. Also a small quantity of K6-iii 450 chips from pc liquidators.

Regards,

Bill
