Correct drivers for Xircom/IBM mini pci 10/100 NIC/56K modem?

Hi - I have the famed Xircom/IBM mini pci 10/100 NIC/56K modem, but I can't seem to find drivers for it. I found these drivers: http://www-3.ibm.com/pc/support/site.wss/MIGR-4K4PX2.html?doctype= But Windows 98 detects two different things when I first plug in the mini pci modem - and these drivers only work for one of those things. Also - I've seen the ZIP file with the virgin drivers in folders labeled audio, video, and udma - but none of those are the PCI bridge drivers, right? Can anyone tell me where to find the PCI bridge drivers? Thanks!

Michael

the following contains a "driver" for the bridge device. http://jpe45305.homeunix.org/dl/virginvidsoundchipset/Cyrix%20MediaGX%20Win9x%20Drivers%203.83.exe
Actually it is just an inf file - having the proper driver for the bridge device does not appear to make any difference. Also, do Not use the included udma driver - the one in this collection of drivers is buggy and can't handle ide devices that don't use dma.
Did you get the net card to work? I could never get a 3com mini-pci nic to work in a webplayer (either they sent me two broken ones, or the webplayer could not properly set up the PHY.)

The 3Com card won't work in the Webplayer. The only card I found that works is the one with the Intel chip (Xircom, Intel, or IBM model).

I have an Intel mini-PCI card that I am planning on selling on eBay. It includes the HP RJ11 and RJ45 connector along with a modified backpanel. If your interested, email me with an offer at wv_geo<AT>hotmail<DOT>com
