Heat?

I noticed that my webplayer got pretty hot after just 30 mins or so of using the virginconnect service. With the additional heat of hard drives and additional strain on the CPU, it's going to get pretty hot inside the webplayer case, probobly shortening the life of the unit considerably.

Anyone got any ideas on how to cool the unit? Can a cpu cooler be fitted? Better ventilation??

If you have a Dremel Tool, I suggest adding some long vent holes. You can use it as a free-hand router to remove plastic. I have a webplayer, but it's been a long time since I opened it up, so I don't recall whether the top or bottom of the player would be best for ventilation. Probably on the side where the modem and HDD are. I think that's the top side. As I recall there is a panel on the side that can be removed to add a HDD. It might be possible to cut long holes in this or mount a very small fan here.
