webplayer & HDD problem
Cannot get 6gb hitachi hdd to work in my webplayer

Ok, I've formatted the 6gb hitachi laptop hdd, copied the system files to make it bootable. I have tried every different setting on the hdd (master, slave, and cable select), but I get nothing except the "Invalid system disk. Press any key to continue" error. I have enabled the HDD controller in the BIOS so that 'BOTH' are enabled. I didn't have this problem with my i-opener, can someone help me? :(

Check to see if the virgin is properly detecting your hard drive. So - in the BIOS - go into the properties or whatever of the hard drive - where it lists capacity along with a bunch of other things - and compare that with the actual specs of the drive. For some reason - virgins only like some hard drives. They sure like mine!
