OK, so I broke the LCD cable on my webplayer a while ago. I then just kinda shelved it casue I couldnt find another cable (called boundless and a bunch of other guys, no help at all). Eventually someone on Hardforums said he toasted his, does anyone want any parts? I get the cable for like $5 from him. Put it in, and it still doesnt work. What it does is, it boots up, the lights come on, it goes "beep" and if i smash the keys it beeps angerly after a few hits. The CCFl backlight comes on, but nothing at all comes up on the screen. I am thinking bad screen, any other theories? Tried different RAM sticks, the DOC is there.
