thanks for the info. I am not overclocking...
Last night, before going to sleep, I examined some of the grounding springs/tabs, and I saw that 2 of them were darkened on the tip. I think I got careless and set the powered mobo down and shorted something. Is the largish chip on the bottom (the big silver one) for video? If so, I think one of the grounding springs/tabs touched that chip. I suspect I am SOL.
I have another WP, nice and new that I got from UBID waaay back. I want to solder on USB, and add cooling too. I found a 5 V .15 A fan that I am going to add to an old Ti4200 fan and mount onto the chip. Anything to beware of here? Can I hose the voltages by adding this fan, such that I destroy this unit too?
