WebPlayer doesn't start most of the time
Powers up with mail and power light green and nothing else happens ... most of the time.

I've had a WebPlayer for over a year now, but for the last couple of months it hasn't been powered up. I pulled it out to get it going again, but now all it does is power up with mail and power light green and nothing else happens ... most of the time. If I "jiggle" the power cable it works occasionally. I've had it completely boot into Win98 a couple of times. Sounds like a bad connection somewhere where the power supply plugs in, but I haven't been able to find a definitive cause. Anyone else run into a problem like this and have any suggestions on where to look?

I'm probably going to destroy the thing playing with it like this... one time it booted the screen was so faded and barely visible I thought it wasn't working. Perhaps something in the LCD hardware is the problem?

same here. The webplayer mail and power light are on. And nothing that I do changes that.
Anyone had the 2 lights be green and was able to revive the machine.

Note: it worked fone for year or so. Than it was off for 6 month, now the above symptom is happening. Also, jiggling power supply does nothing.

I had one die with these symptoms, but I did not fix it. In my case, a capacitor next to the IDE header leaked. I suspect replacing the cap would fix it.
