MP3 playback on Win2K
MP3 playback on Win2K

I installed Win2k using the sound and video drivers posted here previously, and it actually runs OK with 128MB of RAM.

The sound and video seem to work OK, but MP3 playback is terrible. It stutters badly and isn't usable. I've tried a number of different players and they all suffer the same symptoms.

Anyone gotten good MP3 playback under Win2k?

I use mine all the time for MP3 playback. I have never had a problem, but I did overclock mine to 233mhz

What software are you using to play mp3s?
I found that Winamp Lite version 2 was the least cpu intensive.
No jitters even with the equalizer on.
But I've only run 98Lite on my Virgin.
