Has anyone used their $25 certificate? We have called 1 877 484 7446 numerious times during the listed open store hours but have only gotten the recorded message saying the store was closed and to call back ....

Yes, I used it. I called once during the middle of the day and the phone rang for about 5 minutes with no answer. I called the next day and it didn't get picked up until about the 10th ring. It sounded like the whoele staff was in one small room because I could clearly overhear people's conservations in the room! Sounds like the staff is operating on a bare-bones budget.

I got a DVD but my gosh their prices are expensive on DVD's. I wonder how they are able to sell any. I paid $29 + shipping + tax for the DVD which ended at around $7 after after discount.

DoS4WhO, if you would ask a specific question, you might get an answer. "What's the deal" can mean anything from "How do I call them?" to "Who qualifies?" to "How come my certificate didn't work when I tried to cash it?" In other words, a vague question like "What's the deal" will almost never get an answer because nobody understands what the fuc% you're asking.

I had to jump through hoops to use my gift cert. First after several attempts, I was able to get through on the phone lines, then I was told that I needed to place my order online at virginmega.com and when it asks for "Payment Type" to check "Personal Check"... at that point you get an order #. THEN you have to call the phone number again (5 more attempts) and give them the order #. I ordered a CD ($18.00), then since I wanted to use the whole $25, I specified "second day delivery" for an additional $5. Two weeks later my CD got here by regular mail!

But hey, I'm not complaining... I got a free Webplayer AND a free CD for my troubles!

How much do you think this whole doomed project has cost Virgin?
