Has anyone come up with a way to use AOL without adding a hard drive...just by changing the xxx@virginconnect.com to xxx@aol.com...
It seems to have some kind of protection, is there any way around this?

Using AOL or Compuserve2000 would be one hell of a hack indeed. Unfortunately, they aren't like standard ISPs. Basically they are old-style "online services" with proprietary dial-up software. For that reason, you can't simply insert codes into the TCP/IP control panel and sign onto the net as you would with a regular ISP. In other words, there's absolutely no way to use either AOL or Compuserve2000 with the Webplayer's standard operating system. You'll need to load it onto the DOC along with the "lite" version of Win9x, or you'll need to insert a hard drive.
