Quick dumb question on desktop HD to virgin cable needed

OK. Looks like the quickest, cheapest way to re-function my webplayer is to copy the embed98.img to the DOC.

I've got an old 450MB HD that'll do fine. I loaded it as the slave on my desktop, sys'd the drive, and downloaded the img file and unzipped the DOC tools.

Now, my question is, what cable do I need to buy to connect the desktop HD to the webplayer's IDE controller? This has probobly been answered already, but I failed to find a definitive answer through a search on "44 pin." Also, cablesonline haven't responded to my email. I don't want to waste and time and/or money on buying the wrong part/s.

If someone could post URLs and prices, I'd really appreciate it. Anyone know if this might be something RadioShack might sell?

Thanks!

44 pin laptop cables.

2.5" laptop hard drives and 2.5 to 3.5 adaptor.

I ordered from both on a Saturday night, and received the parts the next Wednesday.

On that site http://stores.yahoo.com/cablesonline/44pinlapinri.html, which actual cable is the one that connects a desktop IDE drive to the webplayers header? There's like 10 different cables there and none of 'em mention a desktop drive. I'm still confused :(

Just spent some time searching through the archives trying to find out how the $uc% people were able to hook up a desktop drive to the webplayer's 44 pins. I cannot find such a cable out there! I'm wondering how people were able to do the embed98.img to DOC hack using a desktop (3.5") drive? I've got my 3.5" hard drive ready to go -- I just need to know where to get the darned cable from.

Please post. Thanks.
