I was on the Internet with our (WP) when the trackball screen pointer moved up until it hit the top of the screen and then right until it disappeared in the upper right hand corner of the screen.

I shut off the power to the (WP) and then restarted it but no screen pointer even appeared so was unable to even log on.

I then tried pressing ctrl-music could not get the rotating password page.

We have only had the (WP) for ~2 months and it has Not had a lot of use so we did Not even consider BAD keyboard batteries. I finally checked the 2 AA batteries, they were 0.945 and 0.946 V, then put in New batteries and turned the (WP) on. The screen pointer came back and we could access the rotating password page and log on again. Happy Ending!

PS we marked the date and starting V of the new batteries. Has anyone measured battery life exp. with the (WP) keyboard? 2 mo. seems very short!

If you ever leave something sitting on the keyboard so it presses the keys, it will drain the batteries. Other than that, I don't know what kind of battery life you should get.

To my knowledge nothing was ever placed on the keyboard--but who knows since there are mult users. Another possibility is that weak batteries were put in the (WP).

Am very interested to know how long other (WP) keyboard batteries are lasting.
