which os is best for webplayer

i was wondering if i can have win 2000 up and running on the web player? or is it just limited to win 95, win 98 linux etc.? if any one has more info, please let me know. thanks i recently got a 3.2 gb hd and wanted to install win 2000. any help is appreciated.

You "should" be able to run MS Windows 2000, the problem lies in finding drivers for all the hardware in the Webplayer. I know some people have ran Windows ME and it has detected some of the devices and loaded the drivers itself. You can try Windows 2000 and see how it goes.. Be sure to let us know your results.
