Were is the "empty" SODIMM slot I have seen on almost all listings on ebay and else where ?

I took mine apart and found none, are by chance folks confusing the MiniPCI slot for a memory slot ??

Or

Was there different versions and some really do have a empty slot with memory built-in and the other version just has the standard SODIMM slot ??

It's under the board, you need to pull the board out.

I think someone did confuse the mini PCI as an empty sodimm slot. There is no empty sodimm slot only the one containing the 64M sodimm. I have a feeling once one person listed the unit as having an empty slot, several others picked up on it and included that in thier description. They may have gotten their information from the I-Hacked webpage at http://65.26.128.188/iappliance/webplayer.htm Here he describes it as having an "Empty SODIMM connector and with 64MB built into the motherboard".

Wherever the rumer started it is incorrect their is but one connector and it contains the system memory so any memory purchased as an upgrade would replace the original 64M not add to it.

That is what I thought....

Oh well, another disapointment.

My new question is how do you hook up the secondary IDE ports ? Is there a 44 pin lug connection without any pins ? Setup in the bios sure thinks so when you auto-detect drives.
