Webplayer Command Screen
I Have The Infor From The Command Screens

New MessageWebplayer Command Screen (modified 0 times) Ballast
Following advice elsewhere in this group, I spent some time with my Webplayer unattached to the phone line. After a couple of dozen attempts the had ID's that didn't match those with known passwords, I had it come up with 9035. That is 2 higher than a known ID (9033) which has a password of 6536. Sooooo, getting bored, I decided since the ID given was 2 higher I would try a password that was 2 lower.... Eureka!!! it worked!!!! So the password for 9035 is 6534.

I have been writing down every prompt line for every tab and all of the data. There are 8 tabs (PPP File Settings, Dialup Settings, LogManager Settings, MiniTuner Settings, Browser Settings, Network Settings, User Setting, & System Settings). Some screens have as many as 41 data prompts. Not all have data in the data fields, but I assume many will get data inserted when I actually make a registration connection with WebVirgin.

I am going to leave it in this mode for several hours if anyone has some specific questions. Later tonight I will do the deed and register, so now is you chance.

Some sigificant data may be: Under the Network Settins Tab...
DHCP: false
connectionmode: DIALUP
destination: 0.0.0.0
domainname: prodigy.net
gateway: 204.254.79.1
ipaddress: 204.254.79.0
net mask: 255.255.255.0
primary DNS: 198.83.19.241
secondary DNS: 198.83.19.244

Under System Settings Tab.... (some of the data shown here)
pppInitFileName: /ramdisk/etc/ppp/options.ppp
ntpserver: system1.ibrow.net
papSecretsFileName: /ramdisk/etc/ppp/secrets.pap
rootCertsURL: file/channels/iap/rootcerts.64

Enough for now - I will write down every bit of info on the screen including blank prompts and get it posted in the next few days.

Well... I had a similar, but different success with the key/password. I got a key of 985, so, using a known key of 981 that had a password of 8451, I ADDED the difference of 4 to the known password and came up with 8455, which worked. So, KEY: 985 PASSWORD: 8455 can be added to the list.

Well I got into the screen the same way. From the dialup screen all you have to do it hit Ctrl+Fn+F1 and it will take you to the passwords screen.
I logged all of the lines and the data that was filled in. I am working on getting it into a text file now. Under the Dial Up settings there is a secret file client with all of the fields blanked out with a single "*".
Does anyone know if it is possible to transfer all of the files that are on the sandisk and then just set up a small partition on your hard drive to connect every month and then mod the web player to whatever you want?
