I'm only interested in hooking up the X-10 firecracker module to the pins (or lack thereof) on the missing serial port... has anyone else tried this? Essentially I want to remove the serial connector from the Firecracker and solder only the necessary points - has anyone labeled the points in an image avaialble online? Thanks!

It's my understanding that the serial port is missing a chip needed to make it work...the firecracker mainly uses dtr dsr and carrier detect...you could probably make it work with a usb to serial adaptor....
