I've been using http://www.hostsave.com for awhile - they are always up and charge me $6.95 a month billed quarterly. They include 5 pop, unlimited forwarding, autorespond, and give me plenty of space in this basic package. Check them out.

Will host for stuff...

I am just ordering my WebPlayer from eBay, and I'd love help getting the DOC burned(?) with Linux preferably, and getting the sound and networking going.

So if you can hook me up I'd be happy to host it on my servers (Cobalt Linux running on a 100-Mbps pipe).

Also, I'd like some [accurate!] idea of how much bandwidth your pushing so I can understand what it's going to cost me.

Check out http://www.5dollarhosting.com

They look pretty cheap and give fair size/bandwidth for the money.

Cheers,

http://www.invite.net is good. They have good prices and freatures. Their speed maxes out my DSL quite often. I have a site hosted on invite: http://www.modustollens.net

E-mail me at jjhallATdwdimensionsDOTcom and I'll get you hooked up. I'll give you free hosting if you pay the setup fee I am charged ($25) and will put a banner or graphic on there for our hosting company Dynamic Web Dimensions. We are fully PHP, Perl, and CGI functional. E-mails are not a problem either. Let me know!

It has been slow, It took me several tries before I was able to dl the 98lite image. It would time out at 20-30%. I am usning @home with only one other person on my node so I don't think the problem was on my end.

I finally got around to opening the case on the webplayer I have had since November. Life just keeps getting in the way.
