The Webplayer's screen lights up but nothing shows up? Could the screen have gotten fried somehow because the web player still boots up, the laptop drive inside powers up, and I can still set it into sleep mode.
Has anyone experienced this problem and found a solution without replacing the screen because it was working fine before.
Is the hard drive touching the underside of the motherboard? I fried the lower video chip on mine that way. Put a piece of plastic or cardboard between them. Obviously, check all the screen connectors too.
I have the same problem. I haven't installed the Hard drive yet I tried it and it won't boot from it so I took it out. It booted up just fine after that just once. now I get a lit up screen but no video you can hear it boot up though. I did notice the cable to the monitor was pinched between the plastic. anyone have an extra cable or know where I can get one? any help please email me. nazzus@lvcm.com
Thanks.
