Does anyone have a few jumpers for a laptop hard drive?
I only had one and lost it somewhere when I had my Webplayer disassemble. It's so tiny that I can't find it. I tried Radio Shack and some other independent computer stores but they only had jumpers for the bigger desktop hard drives.
Can one of you guys drop a few spare jumpers into an envelope and send them to me? Or send me an e-mail and tell me where I can get some.
I was in need of these a couple of years ago when I replaced the hardrive in my notebook with a larger one by conecting the two to a desktop machine using adapters. I recalled that an old compaq 486 I once owned had tiny jumpers on the floppy drive, so I went to my local used/junk computer store and rumanged around in a pile of floppy drives till i found what I needed.
I seem to have misplaced them, but If I am able to find them i will post here.
I also remember an old Conner hardrive that had these tiny jumpers on the PC board.
