| I posted a little while ago about the keyboard/trackball not working under Windows 95. Well, I managed to fix that by disabling the USB subsystem (kind of a bad solution, since I have a USB zip drive) but the problem seems to also be linked to the sound system. Now, the keyboard works fine until I try to play a MP3 file or movie, using any number of programs (Winamp, Sonique, Windows Media Player), after playing for a few seconds, the keyboard/trackball will stop responding. I have to unplug the system and reboot to get it back. Playing any audio/video file elicits this behavior. All of the National Express drivers (including the PCI bridge, etc) are installed and everything is muted in the mixer but main and WAV sound. I have tried moving the resources (IRQ/DMA) around but to no avail. I can't get Windows 98 installed, and don't have Windows Me to try. If anyone has seen this kind of problem, please advise.
