Detatch Screen in WP for use in Car / GPS

I am going to do the GPS Install of the WebPlayer in my Vehicle. I am thinking of Detatching the screen and installing it seperate from the System board. I want to install it in the front haedliner, center like a sunvisor. Extend the cabling, and mount the CPU under the seat, Dash...etc. Has anyone extended the Monitor on a webPlayer..??
And if so, how far can it be run..??

Any thouhgts..??
