A few WP problems and questions

I am having a couple of problems that I can't find the answer for in the BBS (yes, I really did try searching!)
I have win98 running on my WP with no major problems, but a few little quirks. It clicks on startup, but the sound is fine after that (I do have the line-in muted) and my system profile shows 2 PCI bridge devices. When I try to remove one, it finds it and adds it when I start up again. Also, the only way I can turn it off is to unplug the unit after the 'you can turn off your computer' message. Has anyone solved this problem ?
And one last question is: (really showing my ignorance here) what are the drivers in the UDMA folder for? (I am referring to the drivers at i-hacked). Any help is appreciated!

Try re-booting into safe mode and remove both PCI bridge devices, then shut down and restart. That should then re-detect just one.

I tried that, but it ended up giving me an 'unknown' device. Thanks for the suggestion though! Has anyone figured out how to turn this thing off without unplugging it ?

Technically impossible. The power tension is fed straight to all chips inside. You can compare the board with the 'AT' type which
has the same incapability. The only thing you can work with is the standby mode.

To install Ultra DMA support from the cyrix compagnion chip for the IDE devices.
The Webplayers IDE interface can handle up to mode ULTRA DMA/33 but probably that will not be
available to windows without installing the drivers. It can be that this is only necessary
for Windows95 and not for Windows98.
