...now can I use it for my Webplayer in some way? I've got the Win98 Lite Image on DOC...no other modifications made yet. Be cool if I were able to bring it in and connect to the LAN at work on occasion with the Card...

you have received a pcmcia card or what? Then the answer is probably NO. The webplayer doesn't have an interface for that.

It's a 3Com Lan & Modem Cardbus PC Card. Got a 32-bit CardBus.
It's the promotion that 3Com is doing for people who purchase alot of Cards for laptops, they send you this new product for free to evaluate and keep.

it's a PCMCIA Type III card...there is nowhere to connect it on a webplayer...you can always just get a USB Ethernet adapter to connect to your LAN
