Sorry, but I do need all my keyboards.
I have mentioned before I have found a source for these keyboards.
They even have different types to choose from.
Not cheap though.

Is your original keyboard FUBAR? If I recall only the mouseball didn't work anymore.
You can always send it to me. If I can repair it I'll send it straight back to ya.
You can also ask someone else to have a look at it.

Kray:
Thanks for the thought. Mouse does not work, space bar needs be hammered down to function, the keyboard itself is no longer straight, kinda curve (not sure how, I got it as is). I know about the source you are talking about, not prepare to pay that much for just a keyboard...Anyway hopefully somebody will answer my prayer.

Okay all, just maybe to sweeten the deal. My Webplayer DOC to a functioning keyboard!
How sweet it is....Don't everybody email me all at once now. I tried a PT6702 at the
iopener BBS but the dude just never reply. I ended up upgrading my iopener with it.
Desperately seeking KB...

don't know if this will help but look at this keyboard

https://sslserver.com/www.microexpress.com/eshop/10Browse.asp?pos=+8

and these references

http://k-ray.netbox.be/?&jq=04002

http://www.sejin.com/product/product_wkbd_standard.html

the carrier freq looks to be the same and the description of the reciever looks to be the same so it would PROBABLY work

I saw this keyboard advertised on ebay for $30

Somebody burgled my house, the idiots took one webplayer with keyboard (5gb hd) and the keyboard of the other webplayer I had.
Now I need another keyboard – does anybody know where to get one? Does the Sejin work and where can I get one?
Thanks

I heard a thread where someone got a boundless WP, and it had a bad spacebar, he called boundless and they sent him another one no charge. Maybe search the forums for this guy, or contact boundless and see if they can't do anything.
I had a keyboard for my fried WSP, but threw it out months ago figuring there was no market for them. D'oh! I would have given it to you free, no problem (at least if you paid the postage :) D'oh! Wish I didn't trash it! )

If you still haven't found a kb, try Sejin. They manufactured the original for the WP (Does this look familiar?), and their website reports that most of the kb's use the same comm protocol. Or, just buy a Sejin kb from ebay.

Wow...I'd be pretty pissed if I bought one of those just as a keyboard...

It took me a minute to see what you meant, but I agree. If I bought a Sejin "freeboard" and then found out that Ubid was selling them with webplayers, I might be upset.
