Hmm... Does anyone which, if any USB floppy drives work with the WebPlayer? I am thinking of getting a NEC UF0001 for small file transfers. I appreciate any help that is given.

Hi, sorry forgot to ask about USB printers, also. Specificly, has anyone gotten an HP Apollo series USB printer to work? Or is there is a specific one someone wants to suggest, I would appreciate it. Thanks.

I've gotten a USB zip drive working with the WP - note that it's a self-powered model though.
Things that draw power from the USB port seem to have more trouble. If you want to do small file xfers something like a USB flash card reader (uses USB power, but not much) or a USB zip drive might be a good alternative.

DeReK, maybe some printer help for ya. Bought a Canon5400@ BBUY on sale, downloaded drivers from canon site, it came on & worked for a while but would always freeze up after a couple of copies..Have a GREAT computer buddy guru, he said, get a HP.. Took it back to BBUY, got full credit cause it wouldn't work right, spend $20 more & got a HP648c, downloaded drivers from hp website, loaded & installed, been going great guns for a month now, never missed a beat. LAST WEEK, found a multiuse, fax, copier, printer, scanner in the classified ads in local paper, like new, $55, Canon355c. With my computer gurus suggestion & HELP, we used a external cd drive we had at work, hooked up to a second webplayer I had with the usb ports, used the canon install cd to put on my webplayer 6gig HD, & the unit has come right on & worked now for 7 days. Have only printed with it, not checked other functions, but i assume all is well..
BEST OF LUCK, let me know how you make out.
