HD + CDROM = :-(

Hi,

I'm trying to install a HD in the webplayer which is going fine. I can boot linux from the HD and everything looks hunky dory. I can even see my CDROM under linux. I cannot however boot from the CDROM.

My setup is the HD as master the CDROM as slave. The HD is user defined in the bios and the CDROM is set up as removable ATAPI, I don't get given the CDROM option. The boot sequence is SL/MA/DOC. When I reboot the hd is used for booting. Checking the bios shows that the boot sequence has been changed to MA/SL/DOC!

Has anybody encountered this?

Someone correct me if I am wrong, but the Webplayer doesn't have a bios level boot from cdrom option.

I have never been able to boot from CD either. I assumed the BIOS did not support it.
