Hi again... I want to know how may upgrades can the webplayer support.

I mean... How much memory it can support, the size (MB) of the hard drive, etc..

I know you can install the win98lite in the DOC, that you don't need the doc to boot up using a hard drive. That you can use Win98,SE,ME. Win2000/XP are to much for the webplayer. Some webplayer's USB work, some doesnt work that good.

I read almost all the threads but I just wanted to know if someone can explain everything in just one thread. Almost all the info is there, but is kind of difficult to find since is in different threads.
I've checked K-Ray's Webpage, Larwe's page, I-hacked, Defiler's... they have a lot of info on their pages, but no one tells how much you can push the webplayer in memory size and hard drive size. I'm not trying to be a pain in the butt, nor criticize them... All those people inspired me in buying a webplayer, they are awesome... and Im very thankful of them and all the people here... Im an RF Engineer working in Cellphone Wireless... I dont know hell about modifying electronic equipment, but their websites and this forum are driving me nuts = )

I think this can be the thread for all the newbies out there like me. The what is and how to for the webplayer.

Thanks for your help...

P.S. I only have those 4 webpages and the forum... If someone knows other pages please write the links...

I know 128mb memory works and it seems you are safe with a standard sodimm that has 4 chips on each side.. I have seen people report that a 20 gig hard drive works. In my webplayer the usb devices that work so far are a 3com network adapter, an iomega cdrw, and an iomega zip drive (powered version).
