Are those disk on chip things inside the webplayer re sellable on somewhere like ebay? Is it a standard thing or is it something made special for the virgin webplayer? I just found an ebay auction with a 32 meg DOC, its already up to $37 with more than 2 days left! Thats almost the price of a webplayer on ebay, and they have a 48 meg DOC dont they? I am assuming that once you add a hard drive you no longer need the DOC, if I'm wrong someone please correct me....

You are correct -- once you put in a hard drive you don't need the DOC.

Stuff on EBay has been way over priced lately.

And yes, you CAN resell your DOC if so inclined. The 48MB DOC 2000 is a nice item, and since there probably several around now (because people are doing what you are doing -- putting in a hard drive) I would have expected the price to be a bit more reasonable. Seel em if you can! Take advantage of it, while you can...
