I am ripping apart my webplayer and realized that audio out is infront, I find having a wire run all the around the unit to ghetto for my liking. So after some deliberation I realized that I need to screw of hte little internal speakers, and make an audio out. So here is hte dilema, I have 2 RCA wires, but 4 wires coming from the speakers. What am I to do? hm... well I finally figured it out, forget about one wire per speaker and just use part of the setup. Use the black and white wires going into the screen and extend them out of the unit (threw modem jack) and then put a RCA plug at the end and you are done. Now you can hook it up to your stereo from the back, and still have a usable headphone jack in the front.

I'm not quite clear on what you did but it sounds like you you are ending up without stereo.

A jack similar to the one on the front would be nice on the back so that you could use the webplayer speakers when you needed to. Headphone jack to RCA cables are available.
